Welcome to Therapy Works for Kids
Therapy Works for Kids of Havertown, PA is a therapy center that was designed specifically to provide therapeutic support to infant, children, teenagers and young adults who are experiencing difficulties in areas such as motor skills, learning, and other developmental delays. Children who face challenges due to autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Traumatic Brain injury, and other disorders benefit greatly from their intensive, individualized therapies, which have been proven successful.
The center is owner operated, has been in operation for over 12 years, and has created pathways for children with special needs to grow into fully functioning, healthy, and happy adolescents and adults. Some of the therapies offered include:

• Tomatis Sound Training—intensive intervention combining sound based therapy and occupational therapy

• Cellfield Reading Program
• MASGUTOVA Reflex Integration and Myo Facial Release
The center Cellfield Reading is a 12-week program that targets reading foundations and the underlying skills that involve timing between the visual and auditory systems necessary to be a good reader. This program is twofold: a 2-week computer interface and 10 weeks of weekly sessions with a therapist to integrate the new skills. Results typically show in increased school function, decoding, comprehension and mastery of reading material.
Therapy Works for Kids also offers MASGUTOVA Reflex Integration and Myo Facial Release. The center offers a "boot camp" intervention. This involves 5 to 10 intensive sessions in a two week period in order to initiate positive changes in the nervous system. This leads to significant behavioral, postural and functional changes, which can help the child achieve higher function and better self-regulation.
